What is a Cup Square Bolt?

Cup Square Bolts are fasteners with a smooth, rounded “cup” head with square section underneath the head, designed to be used with wood and other materials. They are also referred to as Carriage Bolts or Coach Bolts.

Commonly accompanied by a nut, the square neck digs into the material as the nut tightens stopping the bolt from turning.
